In this way, the cable seems much more reliable and suitable for continuous and heavy surfing. However, this is true more in theory than in practice. In reality, the cable also can be pretty unreliable; its unreliability however depending largely on the efficiency of the provider and the maintenance it provides to the customers and his equipment. Cable internet is extremely fast and reliable as long as the maintenance is done well and regularly.
For those who use the DSL filter correctly, there should be no complaints since this is a very safe, fast and secure way to surf the Internet. However, the initial trouble for installing it and get work at optimal level sometimes can be a heavy deterrent factor. Nonetheless, there are more and more people who are recognizing DSL to be as effective if not more effective than cable.
